Graduate counseling students may apply for practicum or internship placement with the Dr. Kwame Institute. Interns may provide affordable counseling to approved clients for a self-pay rate of $65 per session.
Placement depends on university requirements, qualifications, client availability, scheduling, and the Institute's current capacity.

Clinical supervision is available for counselors seeking professional development, case consultation, and supervised clinical experience. Individual and group supervision may be available based on eligibility and scheduling.
Supervision is supportive, educational, ethical, and practical.
Dr. Kwame Owura Frimpong holds a PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision and is a Licensed Professional Counselor, National Certified Counselor, Approved Clinical Supervisor, Marriage and Family Therapist, professor, pastor, and counselor educator.
Applicants should be enrolled in a graduate counseling or related clinical program and receive approval from their university before beginning placement.
